Manchester City Fire Department crews responded to a vehicle fire on I-24 near mile marker 113 at 10:10AM, Saturday, March 29, 2025.
Fire Chief George Chambers told Thunder Radio, “Crews arrived on scene, the vehicle was fully engulfed in fire. Crews deployed their attack line and extinguished the fire. There were no injuries during the incident. The cause of the fire is undetermined. Crews waited at scene for the wrecker to arrive and then turned the scene over to Law Enforcement personnel”.
