Trailing 8-5 entering the bottom of the seventh Tullahoma softball rallied to top Marshall County 9-8 in a district 8-3A battle Tuesday night at East Middle School in Tullahoma.
Kaitlyn Gattis was the hero as her walk off three run home run capped the comeback and pushed the Lady Cats Win streak to 11. Gattis finished the night 2-4 with a double to go along with the game winning blast. Kylee Holt went 3-4 with a run scored and Madison Goad, who also had a home run, helped lead the charge offensively with three runs scored.
Tullahoma, who improved to 12-5 on the season and 6-1 in district play, hosts Giles County, in a make up from last week’s rain out, tonight at 5:30. Lady Cat fans catch Thursday's district battle with Central Magnet on 93.9 The Duck and the Lighttube Sports Network at 5:15.
