Name Released of Drowning Victim

On Target News can now report the name of the drowning victim in Coffee County.
The incident was reported at approximately 4:00pm on Sunday. Coffee County deputies responded to the Fire Lake area of Normandy Lake at the request of TWRA where the body of 28-year-old Hunter Smithson was found in the water.
According to Coffee County Sheriff’s Department Chief Deputy Frank Watkins preliminary information indicates no foul play.
