The Tony Rice Center (TRC) in Shelbyville will celebrate the grand opening of a new 28-bed transitional housing facility on its campus on Saturday at 1:00 PM. The facility, located at 1300 Railroad Avenue, will be named "The Lokey House" in honor of longtime counselor Tim Lokey.
The Tony Rice Center, which has provided a 90-day residential addiction treatment program for 34 years, is expanding its services to offer a structured transitional living environment for program graduates. This new facility will allow men to continue their recovery journey, participate in a work program, and build a foundation for long-term sobriety and success.
The public is invited to attend the grand opening event, tour The Lokey House, and support the Tony Rice Center's ongoing efforts to combat alcohol and drug addiction in Bedford County and the surrounding areas.
