The Tennessee Department of Transportation (TDOT) has announced that there will be no lane closure activity on interstates and state highways this weekend. Lane closures will be paused for the Labor Day holiday from noon on Friday, August 30, until 6 a.m. on Tuesday, September 3.
Drivers convicted of speeding in work zones where workers are present could face a fine between $250 and $500, not including potential court fees or increased insurance premiums.
