No More Squatting Your Vehicle

As of Monday, July 1 Tennessee's new law prohibits anyone from driving a vehicle on a road if it has "Carolina Squat" modifications. The law makes it a Class-B misdemeanor, punishable by a fine of $250 for the first offense. Punishments increase in severity for continued violations. So, you know, the rear end of the vehicle can't be 4 inches lower than the front of the vehicle.

The law applies to vehicles that are both permanently in a "Carolina Squat" position and ones that get into the position with hydraulic systems.
