Red Raiders Stun Siegel Stars in Commanding Win on Homecoming Night

The Coffee County Red Raiders jumped out to a 14-0 lead in the first half and added an insurance score in the second half en route to a 21-0 victory over the Siegel Stars on homecoming Friday night at Carden Jarrell Field. The region opener featured another spectacular performance offensively, and the Red Raiders (3-1, 1-0) came out strong defensively in week four. The Red Raiders now open up regional play 1-0. 

 

Offensively for Coffee County, Caiden Martin finished with a stellar 100 rushing yards on 16 carries and two touchdowns. Deontae Short added 22 yards on just 6 carries on crucial drives. Jayden Carter was named the Giles Dunn Diamond Company Player of the Game after taking a pick-six 96 yards to put the Red Raiders on the board first. The Red Raiders improve to 3-1 as they hit the road to face the Page Patriots  (4-0) on Friday, with kickoff scheduled for 7 p.m. at Page High School.
