Shelbyville Police Apprehend Multi-State Fugitive Austin Derryberry

On Tuesday, officers with the Shelbyville Police Department's Directed Patrol Unit apprehended a fugitive wanted for crimes in 3 states. The unit was acting on a tip from the Tennessee Bureau of Investigation. Austin Derryberry was wanted for following outstanding warrants on drug charges, failure to appear and domestic assault. The department said in a social media post that Derryberry was taken into custody without incident.
