With anxiety levels running high during the holidays, the Shelbyville Police Department announced they have specially trained officers available to help those experiencing a mental health crisis. Each shift is staffed with officers who are equipped to assist you or your loved ones in times of need. The department adds that if you or someone you know is experiencing a non-life-threatening mental health crisis, you’re encouraged to call the non-emergency number at 931-684-5811.
