State Parks Offering Tennessee Promise Students Opportunity to Earn Volunteer Hours

This Saturday, June 22 Tennessee State Parks will hold work events at 33 parks across the state this month for Tennessee Promise students to fulfill their community service hours.

Old Stone Fort State Park in Manchester will be conducting their cleanup day.

Details can be found online at tnstateparks.com. All participants must register on the website. The parks also accept help from any other volunteers who wish to participate.

Participants are encouraged to wear appropriate clothing and bring items such as water, snacks, and sunscreen.
