A Tracy City woman at the center of one of the largest fentanyl busts in Grundy County history has accepted a plea deal. Susan Diane Stephens pled guilty to one charge of possession of schedule II drugs (fentanyl .5 grams or greater) on Oct. 7. Judge Bradley Sherman sentenced her to one year with the Tennessee Department of Corrections. She was given credit for the six months she has already served, given an alternate sentence of probation after serving 180 days, fined $2,000, and must complete an alcohol and drug assessment and follow all its recommendations.Stephens was arrested in April of this year after a search of her Lockhart Town Road residence uncovered a large amount of fentanyl pills.
