A Truck crash and subsequent spill in Franklin County Monday morning generated a response from multiple agencies, including Broadview Fire Department, The Franklin County Sheriff’s Office, and the Tennessee Highway Patrol. Franklin County EMA was requested by Broadview Fire Department for a Agricultural Lime Truck that had overturned. The fire department was concerned with a potential diesel spill. Personnel from the department were able to contain the spill and limit it to a small amount that was absorbed by pads from Franklin County Emergency Management Search & Rescue. The quick containment prevented any environmental impact. The driver was treated for injuries by paramedics at the scene.
