The City of Tullahoma marks Arbor Day 2025 by noting the importance of trees to Tennessee’s economy. This is an event that will be held at Frazier McEwen Park on Friday, April 25th at 11am.

There will be guests from the Tennessee Urban Forestry Council, the UT Champion Tree program, members of the Tennessee Valley Wood Worker’s Association, the Tullahoma Tree Board, and George Dickel Distillery. The Mayor of Tullahoma, Lynn Sebourn, will also present the annual Arbor Day Proclamation and mark Tullahoma’s 28th consecutive year as a Tree City, USA and Tullahoma Utility Authority’s 14th year as a Tree Line, USA utility. There will also be food trucks on site for lunch.

At this event, the City of Tullahoma will unveil a new interpretive sign noting three specific trees important to Tennessee: the Tulip Poplar, the Sugar Maple, and the White Oak. These three trees have been planted in the park with the sign to create a learning space on how trees benefit us environmentally and economically.

The event is free to attend and open to everyone.
