It was a Republican sweep in Southern Middle Tennessee as voters returned Donald J.Trump to the White House. Other races found Marcia Blackburn defeating Gloria Johnson for US Senate, Scott DesJarlais beating Victoria Broderick for US House of Representatives District 4, Janice Bowling over Wayne Steele in Tennessee Senate District 16, and Rush Bricken downing Veronica Owens in Tennessee House District 47. In Tennessee Senate District 14, Shane Reeves defeated E.R. Smith and in Tennessee House district 62, Pat Marsh ran unopposed. Tennessee house District 39 found Iris Rudder handily defeating Rosemary Drake. Find more results here:
