Warren County Woman Charged with Attempted Homicide After Shooting Boyfriend During Dispute

A Warren County woman faces attempted criminal homicide charges after allegedly shooting her boyfriend during a dispute. Deputies responded to a camper on Patterson Road over the weekend, finding 49-year-old Jesse David Meeks with a gunshot wound to the chest. Authorities say Angel Patterson, his girlfriend, retrieved a gun from her car and shot Meeks following an argument. Patterson was detained at the scene and is being held without bond as the investigation continues.
