Emergency Warming Center Opens in Manchester to Provide Urgent Winter Support
As temperatures drop, the ADA Wright Center in Manchester has opened as a temporary Emergency Warming Center to provide shelter for those in need. The warming center will be open Wednesday, Thursday, and Friday from 7:00 p.m. to 8:30 a.m. to offer a safe and warm space during the harsh winter conditions.
The center, located at 328 N. Woodland St., is open to anyone in need of heat. Entry is free, and visitors will be provided with a warm shelter, dinner, and breakfast at no cost. No pre-registration is required.
Community members are encouraged to spread the word to ensure those in need can access the shelter. Ensuring the well-being of all residents is a priority, and this resource aims to provide relief during the freezing nights ahead.
