SHELBYVILLE, Tenn. (March 19, 2025) — Youth Leadership Bedford, in partnership with Leadership Bedford, is organizing The Benefit for Hope, a special event aimed at raising mental health awareness, reducing stigma, and funding essential counseling services for young people in Bedford County.
The fundraiser will provide counseling service grants for individuals 21 years old and under who need support. These grants will be allocated based on need, as determined by approved mental health providers.
“Mental health is an important issue, and we want to ensure that every young person in Bedford County has access to the help they need,” event organizers shared. “Every dollar raised contributes directly to offering hope and healing for local youth.”
The Benefit for Hope will take place on Saturday, April 5, from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM at 310 Colloredo Blvd, Building B, Shelbyville, TN 37160. Attendees can enjoy live music, food trucks, games, and a silent auction, all while supporting a vital cause.
Community members are encouraged to participate, donate, and spread the word to help maximize the impact of the event. Every contribution plays a role in ensuring that young people struggling with mental health challenges receive the care they deserve.
