The Gannon girls overwhelmed Polk County ladies in girls’ basketball on Monday afternoon in Manchester. The Coffee County duo combined for 29 points to lift the Lady Raiders to a 63-18 win to improve to an impressive 15-1 on the season. Chloe Gannon had 16 and her sister Channah finished with 13. Shooting guard Natalie Barnes poured in 12.

Coffee County’s defense was outstanding as they only allowed 16 first half points. The Lady Raiders almost shutout Polk County in the second half by giving up just 2 points in the final 16 minutes.

Next up will be the Jeff Taylor Christmas Classic at Tullahoma. Coffee County plays East Hickman at 2 p.m. on Wednesday afternoon and Moore County at 3:30 p.m. on Thursday. The Red Raider boys will also play in the classic.
