Promotion Day for Tullahoma Police and Fire Departments

The Tullahoma Police and Fire Departments celebrated with their promotion ceremonies on Friday, honoring the dedication and commitment of several members within their ranks. The ceremonies at Tullahoma City Hall recognized the exemplary service of its law enforcement and fire personnel.

Colleagues, friends, and family gathered to honor and congratulate the following individuals on their well-deserved promotions:

Police Department Promotions:

1. Kandace McGee, promoted to Corporal.

2. Michael Wilder, promoted to Sergeant.

3. Jason Kennedy, promoted to Deputy Chief.

Fire Department Promotions:

1. Joseph Hale, promoted to Engineer.

2. Joseph Pennington, promoted to Engineer.

Chief of Police Chase Sons expressed his gratitude for the newly promoted officers, stating, “Today, we celebrate our officers’ hard work, dedication, and exceptional leadership. Each one of them has shown unwavering commitment to serving our community with integrity and professionalism. Their promotions are a testament to their skills and dedication.”

Similarly, Fire Chief Kenny Pearson commended the promoted firefighters, saying, “The Tullahoma Fire Department takes pride in recognizing the achievements of our firefighters. Their hard work has proven themselves valuable assets to our department and our community. As they take on new roles and responsibilities, I have no doubt they will continue to demonstrate the highest level of service and dedication.”

The promotion ceremonies served not only as a recognition of individual accomplishments but also as a reaffirmation of the two departments’ commitment to excellence in serving and protecting the Tullahoma community.
