Raider Baseball remains in 1st place in District Standings

Coffee County pitcher Aiden Robertson shut down the Shelbyville Golden Eagles on Thursday night in Manchester. Robertson allowed only 3 hits in 6 innings of work and an impressive 15 strikeouts in the 3-0 District 6-4A win. Timothy Henderson pitched the seventh to collect the save.

The Red Raiders are now 6-8 overall and 4-2 in district play. Their district mark ties them with Franklin County for first.

Brendon Sheppard, Nate Rutledge, Caleb Moran, and Jacob Sherrill all collected one hit to lead Coffee County. 

The running Raiders run the bases extremely well as they had eight on the night. Sherrill, Moran Jacob Holder had two each.

Coffee County will host Lincoln County in a doubleheader on Saturday afternoon beginning at 1 p.m.
