Record Numbers Set during Early Voting in Tennessee

By the end of Tennessee’s 14-day early voting period on Thursday, Oct. 29, 2,280,767 or 51 percent of all register voters had cast their ballot for the Nov. 3 presidential election.
In six Tennessee counties, Cheatham, Davidson, Loudon, Rutherford, Williamson and Wilson, turnout from early and absentee voting has already surpassed the early, absentee and Election Day turnout totals from 2016.

Coffee County ended with a total of 17,157 casting their vote for the Presidential, Federal, and State Election. Coffee County has 34,752 registers voters, so 49.37% Coffee County voters have already voted. The 2020 election turnout is almost 40% over the 2016 election and 50% over the 2012 election. Tuesday, November 3rd is Election Day, polls open at 8:00 a.m. and close at 7:00 p.m.
