Relief Packages Helping Governments and Schools

Area governments have received money from the Coronavirus Aid, Relief, and Economic Security (CARES) Act.

Coffee County citizens will see a new ambulance reporting to emergencies. Other purchases the county made include self-service payment kiosk, several laptops, iPads, glass barriers to protect employees and more.

Money from the Elementary and Secondary Emergency Relief Fund 2.0 package is helping the 3 school systems in Coffee County. Tullahoma received $3.1 million, Manchester $1.3 million and the county system receiving $3.7 million.
