Results from first games of Tullahoma Adult Baseball

Three games were played in the Tullahoma Adult Baseball League on Tuesday night, the first of the 2020 summer season for the Parks and Recreation Dept program. At Grider Stadium, the Rockies shut out the Royals 9-0. Carson Tapley and Derek Bowles combined to throw the shutout, while Hayden Edmondson took the loss for Royals. Jonathan Pearson went two for three at the plate for the winners.

At Waggoner Park, the White Sox defeated the Reds on 7 hits with no errors. Terrin Maupin was on the mound for the White Sox. He surrendered two runs on three hits over two innings, striking out three and walking one. Shandon Hill went 2-for-3 at the plate to lead the White Sox in hits. Cody Stephens took the loss for the Reds.

The Blue Jays downed Jacobs 9-2 at Grider Stadium as the Blue Jays put up seven runs in the third inning. Big bats were led by Austen RogersBrandon HastonChad ZagoneForrest Roberts, and Dylon Smith, who each had RBIs in the inning.

Next games are on Thursday with the Blue jays facing the Royals at 6:00 p.m. at Grider, the Rockies play the Reds at 7:00 p.m. at Waggoner Park, and the Cubs will face Jacobs at 8:00 p.m. at Grider. The Cubs were in a bye on Tuesday night.
