Robertson Pitches Raiders past Warren County

Aiden Robertson pitched a fantastic game on Tuesday night for the Coffee County Red Raiders in a game you heard on The Rooster 101.5.

Robertson a lead-off single in the bottom of the 1st inning and did not allow Warren County any more hits the rest of the night. Robertson struck out 11 and the Pioneers only scored one unearned run.

After dropping the game on Monday night at home, the Raiders got past Warren County 3-1 in McMinnville on Tuesday.

Robertson came up big at the plate going 1 for 2 and two RBI. Coffee County had three other hits in the game as Caleb Moran doubled, Brady Nugent and Jacob Holder singled. Holder stole two bases and scored a run. Nugent and Moran also scored.

The Raiders (8-12/6-4) will host the annual Crethan Hansert tournament Thursday-Saturday. Coffee County will hit the diamond on Thursday at 7:15 p.m. against Marshall County. On Friday at 5 p.m. the Raiders will play the Raiders of Moore County followed by Coffee County hosting county rival Tullahoma at 7:15 p.m. You can hear the Tullahoma game on 93.9 The Duck, 939theduck.com or on app, 93.9 The Duck.
