Rockets and Champions in Thursday Night Middle School Basketball

Westwood’s Lady Rockets are on a roll, and they kept that going on Thursday night as the defeated Cascade 43-23.

Reece Finch carried her good shooting from Wednesday over to Thursday as she scored a team high 15 points. Jules Ferrell continued her season long consistence play with 12 points.

In the boy’s game Westwood put together a huge comeback win. After being down by 14 in first half they battled back to send the game into overtime. The Rockets showed guts and determination to pull overtime 48-44 win.
Kaysen Lowery led his team with 19 Matthew White added 12.

Westwood scored 14 in the OT to help power them to the victory.
