Sarah Beth Elam named New Track and Field Coach at Coffee County High School

On Friday, the administration at Coffee County High School announced the hiring of school’s new track and field coach.

Athletic Director Rebecca Koger said, “We are excited to announce the hiring of Sarah Beth Elam as the track and field coach at CHS. Coach Elam brings experience as an athlete and a coach. We are very happy she has chosen to join the athletic department. Koger added, “She will be an asset to our student-athletes.”

Coach Elam was a standout athlete at Coffee County High School in various sports and has previous experience in assistant coaching at CHS in multiple sports.

Lucky has done play-by-play for 3,838 (and counting) sports events on Radio & TV. He also served four years as the Public Information Officer for the Coffee Co. Sheriff's Dept. and taught Radio/TV for six years at Grundy County High School.
