Season wraps up for Coffee County Boys Basketball

On Saturday evening, the Coffee County Red Raiders travel to Cleveland to take on the Blue Raiders in the quarterfinal round of the Region 3 Class 4-A tournament.

Cleveland jumped out to the early lead, and Coffee County had difficulties with turnovers as the Blue Raiders to a big lead of 37-18 at halftime.

A very talented Cleveland squad continued to extend their advantage in the second half to win 79-44 and end the season for the Red Raiders.

Coffee County got a great effort from senior Jahlin Osbourne with 13 points, and junior Jackson Shemwell helped the Raider effort with 9.

Coffee County finished the season at 16-11.

The Lady Raiders will be in action on Monday at 6:30 pm as they will also take on Cleveland. The semifinal game of the region tournament can be heard on the Rooster 101.5, www.rooster1015.com, or the Rooster 101.5 app.
