In our second follow-up to a story On Target News reported on Monday, Lori Stokes Peels, age 51, from Bedford County, died following a head-on collision on Highway 82 near the Moore County, Bedford County line on Friday night. We can now report Peels’ husband, Gary Peels, later died at a Nashville hospital.
The Tennessee Highway Patrol, the two vehicles were traveling on Highway 82 when Corbin Springer, age 21, crossed the yellow center line in a Dodge Avenger and struck the Peels’ Dodge Caravan Minivan head-on.
