Last Night the Lady Wildcats won big against the Spartans of Summit High School.
Originally scheduled Columbia Central Lady Lions were forced to cancel due to Covid-19. The Summit Spartans traveled to Tullahoma to sub in their place. The Lady Cats dominated the court for 4 full periods of regulation play defeating the Lady Spartans 71-54.
The Tullahoma Boys basketball team took on the Lions of Columbia Central as planned. The Wildcats pulled out a win in a nail-biting game defeating the Lions 59-57.
Lady Wildcats Mckenna Buckner posted 14 points along with Kailyn Farrell scoring 21 points. Leading the way in scoring was Lucy Nutt finishing the night with 24 points to help the Lady Wildcats secure the win 71-54.
In the boy’s game, Tullahoma Wildcats Jakobe Thomas and Brody Melton both scored 10 points. Krys Uselton earned 12 points on the night and Joe Duncan posted 13 points leading the Wildcats to victory in a close match up with the Lions of Columbia Central 59-57.
The Tullahoma Wildcats and Lady Cats will take on the Shelbyville Golden Eagles and Eaglettes this Friday at Tullahoma.
