Tennessee COVID-19 Update for Thursday August 20

The Tennessee Department of Health has confirmed 1,375 additional cases of COVID-19 across the state on Thursday, bringing the state to 139,175 total cases.

TDH also confirmed 36 additional deaths, bringing Tennessee up to 1,488 total deaths.

Out of the confirmed positive cases, 100,967 have recovered, meaning Tennessee currently has 36,720 active cases.

*Bedford County: 13 died; 1,016 confirmed/probable cases; 776 recovered; 227 active cases

*Cannon County: 0 died; 175 confirmed/probable cases; 125 recovered; 50 active cases

*Coffee County: 5 died: 660 confirmed/probable cases; 345 recovered; 310 active cases

*Franklin County: 4 died; 400 confirmed/probable; 268 recovered; 128 active cases.

*Grundy County: 2 died; 139 confirmed/probable; 100 recovered; 37 active cases

*Lincoln County: 1 died; 369 confirmed/probable; 222 recovered; 146 active cases.

*Moore County: 0 died; 81 confirmed/probable; 41 recovered; 40 active cases

*Rutherford County: 61 died; 7,300 confirmed/probable; 4,856 recovered; 2,383 active cases.

*Warren County: 6 died; 669 confirmed/probable; 390 recovered; 273 active cases
