Florida backup quarterback Kyle Trask had a big day in his first start since he was a freshman in high school. He was replacing injured Feleipe Franks.
No. 8 Florida with help from Trask dismantled Tennessee 34-3 on Saturday at Ben Hill Griffin Stadium. Trask completed 20 of 28 passes for 293 yards and two TD’s.
Tennessee senior wideout Jauan Jennings had 7 catches of the Vols 14 receptions for 73 yards. On defense, former Coffee County athlete had an interception.
Florida (4-0, 2-0 SEC) defeated Tennessee (1-3, 0-1) for the 14th time in the last 15 meetings between these rivals.
The Vols are off this week and will host Georgia on October 5.
