The Smoke is coming back to Lynchburg

The Jack Daniel’s World Championship Invitational BBQ is back. It’s an international event like no other. Taking place Lynchburg Tennessee, the event draws more than 60 BBQ teams from around the world.

The event was cancelled in 2020 due to Covid-19 concerns but returns this year Oct. 8 & 9. This will be the 32nd time the event will be held.

Teams will compete for the title of “Grand Champion” and $25,000 in prize money.

The 2019 winner Jack Daniel’s Grand Champion, Clark Crew BBQ will be invited among others.

Admission is up to you, it’s voluntary donation to the Moore County School system.

Lucky has done play-by-play for 3,993 (and counting) sports events on Radio & TV. He also served four years as the Public Information Officer for the Coffee Co. Sheriff's Dept. and taught Radio/TV for six years at Grundy County High School.
