Covid-19 Case Update for Tennessee (April 16)

The Tennessee Department of Health has confirmed additional cases of COVID-19 across the state on Thursday, April 16.

The update brings the total number of positive cases in the state to 6,262. The state reported six additional deaths to bring the total up to 141, 2,786 have recovered.

The latest number of hospitalizations is 691.

Out of the confirmed positive cases, 2,786 have recovered, meaning Tennessee has 3,476 active cases.

  • Bedford County: 2 died; 40 confirmed cases; 2 recovered; 283 tested
  • Coffee County: 0 died: 17 confirmed cases; 4 recovered; 334 tested
  • Cannon County: 0 died; 8 confirmed; 3 recovered; 127 tested
  • Franklin County: 1 died; 23 confirmed; 20 recovered; 239 tested
  • Moore County: 0 died; 1 confirmed; 0 recovered; 39 tested
  • Grundy County: 1 died; 25 confirmed; 17 recovered; 187 tested
  • Lincoln County: 0 died; 9 confirmed; 3 recovered; 103 tested
  • Warren County: 0 died; 4 confirmed; 3 recovered; 245 tested
  • Rutherford County: 6 died; 271 confirmed; 124 recovered; 2,169 tested
