Highest Confirmed Cases of Coronavirus in One Day (April 22) this Month

The Tennessee Department of Health has confirmed additional cases of COVID-19 across the state on Wednesday, April 22.

The update adds 448 cases, the highest number of new cases reported for the state since 444 reported on April 1. The new cases bring Tennessee’s total positive cases to 7,842. The department also reported nine additional deaths to bring the total up to 166.

Out of the confirmed positive cases, 4,012 have recovered, which calculates to 3,830 active cases.

The latest number of hospitalizations is 775.

*Bedford County: 2 died; 117 confirmed cases; 13 recovered; 729 negative tests

*Coffee County: 0 died: 23 confirmed cases; 9 recovered; 726 negative tests

*Cannon County: 0 died; 10 confirmed; 4 recovered; 182 negative tests

*Franklin County: 1 died; 28 confirmed; 23 recovered; 447 negative tests

*Moore County: 0 died; 3 confirmed; 0 recovered; 90 negative tests

*Grundy County: 1 died; 26 confirmed; 20 recovered; 228 negative tests

*Lincoln County: 0 died; 11 confirmed; 6 recovered; 199 negative tests

*Warren County: 0 died; 4 confirmed; 3 recovered; 403 negative tests

*Rutherford County: 7 died; 345 confirmed; 164 recovered; 3,139 negative tests
