TSSAA has released a tentative high school regions and districts for football and also basketball, baseball and softball. The final decision will be made at the board of Control meeting on November 12.
Here are the local teams and their proposed new regions and districts
Football: 6A -Region 3 would include Coffee County, Cookeville, Lebanon, Shelbyville, Warren County
1A region 5 would include Collinwood, Cornersville, Eagleville, Fayetteville, Huntland, Moore County and Wayne Co.
Class 4-A Region 5
Creek Wood, Glencliff, Greenbrier, Hillwood, Lawrence Co., Marshall Co., Montgomery Central, Pearl Cohn, Tullahoma
Basketball, Baseball and Softball
4A District 6 would include Coffee County, Franklin County, Shelbyville Central and Warren County
3A District 8 would include Lawrence County, Lincoln County, Marshall County, Murfreesboro Central, Page, Spring Hill and Tullahoma
1A District 9 would include Cornersville, Eagleville, Fayetteville, Huntland and Moore County
