Tullahoma baseball claims victory over Rockvale

Tullahoma Wildcats ran off with the lead late in the game in a 5-4 victory over Rockvale on Saturday. Tullahoma was down 4-3 in the bottom of the sixth inning when DJ Dillehay doubled on a 0-1 count, scoring two runs. 

Tullahoma Wildcats earned the victory despite allowing Rockvale to score four runs in the sixth inning. Nathan Aguilar, Mason Ishee, and Caden Trigg all contributed in the big inning with RBIs. 

Tullahoma got things started in the first inning. Jayron Morris singled on a 1-0 count, scoring two runs. 

Dillehay was credited with the victory for the Wildcats. Dillehay went two innings, allowing two runs on two hits, striking out three and walking zero. 

Josiah Binford took the loss for Rockvale. The bulldog allowed two hits and one run over one inning, striking out one and walking one.

Austin Stewart started the game for Rockvale. The hurler went two innings, allowing two runs on four hits and striking out one Joseph Duncan started the game for Tullahoma. The righthander went five innings, allowing two runs on four hits and striking out two 

Duncan led the Wildcats with two hits in two at bats. 

Aguilar went 2-for-4 at the plate to lead Rockvale in hits. Rockvale didn’t commit a single error in the field. Trigg had four chances in the field, the most on the team.
