Tullahoma baseball decimates Lincoln County

Tullahoma Wildcats snatched the lead late in the game in a 15-5 victory over Lincoln County on Tuesday. The game was tied at five with Tullahoma batting in the bottom of the fourth when DJ Dillehay drew a walk, scoring one run. 

Tullahoma Wildcats earned the victory despite allowing Lincoln County to score three runs in the second inning. Lincoln County batters contributing to the big inning included Tyler Anderson and Miles Smith, all driving in runs in the inning. 

Trenton Sholey was on the mound for the Wildcats. Sholey surrendered four runs on three hits over three innings, striking out four. 

Parker Webb led things off on the pitcher’s mound for Lincoln County. Webb surrendered six runs on three hits over three and a third innings, striking out seven. Chants Atchley threw two-thirds of an inning in relief. 

Brody Melton led Tullahoma with two hits in three at bats. Colton Emory led the Wildcats with two stolen bases, as they ran wild on the base paths with seven stolen bases. 

Atchley went 2-for-3 at the plate to lead Lincoln County in hits.
