Tullahoma baseball snags win from Stewarts Creek

Tullahoma Wildcats stole the lead late in the game in a 5-2 victory over Stewarts Creek on Friday. The game was tied at two with Tullahoma batting in the top of the seventh when an error scored two runs for the Wildcats.

DJ Dillehay toed the rubber for Tullahoma. The pitcher allowed one hit and one run over five innings, striking out three and walking one. 

Cooper Newsom led things off on the hill for Stewarts Creek. Newsom went four innings, allowing zero runs on three hits, striking out three and walking one. Keenan Saiyasak, Brett Vondohlen, and Nick Kemp each contributed in relief for Stewarts Creek. 

Jacob Dixon led Tullahoma with two hits in four at bats.
