During the start of the 2021-22 school year, Tullahoma City Schools began monitoring COVID-19 cases at each campus inside the district. That information became public and was reported daily on the TCS Dashboard.
Two months into the 2022-23 school year, the district has had a minimal number of COVID-19 cases. As a result, daily information has not changed much regarding reporting numbers. Because of that, TCS believes it is more appropriate to move to a weekly update on the TCS Dashboard, which will be updated each Monday with information reflecting the previous week’s total COVID-19 counts.
If reported Covid cases increase and the district believes daily reporting is necessary, TCS will begin doing so again, which will be communicated to all stakeholders. TCS continues to follow the CDC’s updated guidance and adjust the district’s health and safety protocols as needed.
