Tullahoma softball suffers tough blow versus Lincoln County

It was a tough day on Tuesday for Tullahoma Lady Wildcats, who lost 19-0 to Lincoln County. 

A single by Alena Martin in the second inning was a positive for Tullahoma. 

Hallie Meeks pitched Lincoln County to victory. The ace surrendered zero runs on one hit over two innings, walking zero. Haley Cartwright threw one inning in relief out of the bullpen. 

Katy Bean took the loss for Tullahoma. The righty allowed 11 hits and ten runs over two innings, walking zero. 

Lincoln County launched four home runs on the day. Breanna Haislip went yard in the second and third innings. Meeks went for the long ball in the third inning. Josie Hall had a homer in the second inning. 

Zaylan Spinner and Martin each managed one hit to lead Tullahoma.

Lincoln County totaled 20 hits in the game. Haislip, Hall, Kylie Reese, Abby Flynt, Carlee Mills, Meeks, and Kelsey Posey all managed multiple hits for Lincoln County. Lincoln County didn’t commit a single error in the field. Mia Brown had the most chances in the field with five.
