The Tullahoma basketball teams were on the road Friday night in Columbia.
The Lady Cats were able to hold on to 2nd place in the District 8-AAA standings with 48-32 win over the Columbia Lady Lions. Coffee County leads the district standing.
The win pushes the Tullahoma ladies to a 14-7 overall mark and 8-2 in the district.
In boys’ play the Tullahoma Wildcats battle hard against the District 8-AAA leading Columbia Lions, but dropped the game 60-48.
After a Coffee County win on Friday and a loss on Saturday the Wildcats and Raiders are tied at 6-4 in the district standings, good for 2nd place. Columbia is 7-2. Tullahoma is now 11-7 overall.
Both the Lady Cats and Wildcats will be on the road Monday night as they travel to take on the Eaglettes and Eagles of Shelbyville. Tip-off set for 6 p.m. for the Lady Cats followed by the guys.
