Turner and Munn help lead Lady Raiders to 15-0 Win

The Coffee County Lady Raider bats stayed red hot on Tuesday night in a 3 inning run-rule 15-0 defeat of Franklin County. The Lady Raiders 16 hits on the night.

Justus Turner who leads the team in batting average at just over .500 on the season finished with 3 hits, including a homerun, she scored 3 times and knocked in 3. Haidyn Campbell also had 3 hits with Keri Munn, Emily Schuster, Madison Pruitt and Olivia Evans adding 2 hits each.

Munn was a dominating force in the circle as she struck out 8 of the 13 batters she faced on her way to another no-hitter, her fourth of the season.

Coffee County is now 22-3-1 overall and 10-0 in District 8-AAA play.

The Lady Raiders host the Coffee County Classic on Friday and Saturday. Their first game is Friday against Forrest starting at 4:30pm at Dave King Park in Manchester. You can hear the action on The Rooster 101.5 FM.
