The Tennessee Department of Health has confirmed additional cases of COVID-19 across the state on Wednesday, July 15. The health department reported 2,273 new cases, bringing the state to 69,061 total cases.
TDH also confirmed 16 additional deaths, bringing Tennessee up to 783 total deaths.
Out of the confirmed positive cases, 39,857 have recovered. Tennessee currently has a new high active case count of 28,421.

*Franklin County: 3 died; 127 confirmed/probable; 78 recovered; 3,890 negative tests
*Grundy County: 2 died; 68 confirmed/probable; 56 recovered; 1,048 negative tests
*Lincoln County: 0 died; 111 confirmed/probable; 54 recovered; 2,770 negative tests
*Moore County: 0 died; 26 confirmed/probable; 9 recovered; 650 negative tests
*Rutherford County: 39 died; 3,944 confirmed/probable; 1,736 recovered; 30,097 negative tests
*Warren County: 2 died; 183 confirmed/probable; 70 recovered; 4,416 negative tests. In related information, the Sonic in McMinnville reopened on Wednesday after an employee tested positive for the virus on Monday.
