Updated COVID-19 Numbers on Sunday Jan. 3, 2021. Uptick in Some Area Counties

Tennessee Department of Health reported 4,165 new cases of COVID-19 and 55 deaths in the state on Sunday.

The Department of Health reported 21,465 new cases of COVID-19 over the time-period of Friday-Sunday.

Currently 3,176 Tennesseans are hospitalized with the virus.

After 55 deaths were reported on Sunday, the Department of Health reports a total of 7,025.

Some area counties began to see an uptick in active cases on Sunday.
