Visitations returning to Long-term Care Facilities

Tennessee Department of Health Commissioner Dr. Lisa Piercey says the state will be lifting visitation guidelines this week.

She says most long-term care facilities in Tennessee are finished with COVID-19 vaccinations with staff members being vaccinated and 3/4 of the long-term care facility population being fully vaccinated.

The state will lift visitation guidelines on Sunday, February 28. Nursing homes and long-term care facilities will be left to dictate any restrictions of their own they want to implement if needed.
