Vols Win at Rupp

On Saturday the Tennessee Volunteers men’s basketball team won in an SEC matchup against the Wildcats of the University of Kentucky 82-71.

In the first half the Volunteers lead over the Wildcats going into the locker room at halftime 42-34.

The Wildcats came out in the second half and outscored the Volunteers 48-29. The Volunteers stayed strong in the second half to pull out the win 82-71.

Victor Bailey Jr. scored 11 points on the night for the volunteers. Jaden Springer posted 23 points. Leading the way in scoring for the Volunteers was Keon Johnson notching 27 points.

The Volunteers will take on the Bulldogs of the University of Georgia on Wednesday in Knoxville with tip-off set for 8pm EST. Pregame coverage will begin at 6:30pm CST with tip-off set for 7pm CST. You can hear the Vols play live by tuning into 101.5 The Rooster.
