WARN Notice Filed by NAS as Employees Wonder Who Will Keep Their Jobs at AEDC

In March, On Target News reported that the Arnold Air Force Base contracting office awarded the Test Operations and Sustainment (TOS) II contract, valued at more than $3.7 billion.

The contract was awarded to Beyond New Horizons, LLC (BNH), Huntsville, AL, a joint venture with Engineering Research and Consulting, Inc. (ERC) and Fluor Federal Services, Inc.,

Because of the new contract, National Aerospace Solutions, LLC (NAS) in Tullahoma filed an official WARN Notice with the Tennessee Department of Labor and Workforce Development on Wednesday.

According to the company, NAS does not have insight into how many of its 1,7000 incumbent workforce will be offered employment with the successor contractor. NAS does believe a large majority of its workers will be offered a position to continue to work at Arnold AFB.

The Arnold AFB transition phase-in period began last month, with contract performance starting on July 1, 2024.
