Wartrace Mayor to Resign

Mayor Vickie Smith of Town of Wartrace in Bedford County has decided to resign.
There will be a special called meeting of the Wartrace Board of Mayor and Aldermen will be held 5:30 p.m. Friday at the town hall, to consider the resignation of Mayor Smith. Leaders will be discussing the procedure for filling her unexpired term.
No reason has been given so far as to why the mayor has chosen to resign.

Sheriff's Dept. and taught Radio/TV for six years at Grundy County High School.
