Westwood Rocket baseball defeated Eagleville 7-0 Thursday night in Manchester.
Elijah Vernon was the winning pitcher, allowing just one hit in 5 innings of work. Jayden Dickens tossed two good innings of relief, allowing two hits and walking 1.
Caleb Crouch was 4-for-4 with a double and three runs scored. Keller Hatfield scored three times after walking twice and being hit by a pitch.
CCMS Softball
CCMS Lady Raiders improved to 3-1 on the season after they beat the WCMS Lady Pioneers in softball 4-2 on Thursday.
Maddie Scott was solid in the circle as she pitched a complete game, allowing five hits and two runs while striking out ten. She also had an RBI triple.
Briley Hale and Maggie Montgomery helped the Lady Raider offense as they had two hits each for Coffee Middle.
The two teams will play again on Friday in McMinnville beginning at 5 PM.
