Westwood Rocket Baseball is Red Hot

A six-run fourth inning led Westwood Rockets to a 10-2 victory on Monday over the Forrest MS Rockets.

Kaysen Lowery earned the win for Westwood as Coach Reed Wolfe’s Rockets improved to 3-0 on the season. The right-hander lasted 4 1/3 innings, allowing no hits and two runs while striking out seven.

Keller Hatfield led Westwood at the plate as he went 2-for-4 in the cold weather.

The Westwood Rockets have outscored their opponents 34-3 in their first three games in the 2023 campaign. The Rockets play again on Thursday at Community Middle School.
